These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Plate Studio website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2.Service description

The Service allows authenticated users to upload a food photo and obtain an improved "AFTER" image with a professional studio look while preserving the same plate and food arrangement.

3.Eligibility and account

1The Service is primarily intended for professional/business use (B2B). If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
2You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
3We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, or Terms violations.

4.Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, or rights-infringing content
  • Upload personal data of others without rights (e.g., faces, contact details, documents)
  • Upload copyrighted material without proper rights
  • Attempt to compromise the Service (e.g., scraping, attacks, bypassing limits)
  • Use the Service to create deceptive or fraudulent content

We reserve the right to investigate violations and restrict access.

5.Image processing and third parties

1To generate the AFTER image, the Service uses third-party providers (e.g., OpenRouter and/or AI models) to process the request.
2We do not guarantee third-party availability or performance, but we will use reasonable efforts to keep the Service operational.

6.Your content and rights

1You retain rights to the content you upload.
2You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license for the duration of your use of the Service to process your uploaded content solely to provide the Service (generation, storage, display in your account, downloads).
3AFTER images: you may use generated images commercially (menus, social media, websites), provided you comply with third-party rights and applicable laws.

7.BEFORE/AFTER storage

1The Service is designed to store only the AFTER image associated with your account, along with metadata (timestamp, settings, status).
2The original input ("BEFORE") is used only for processing and is not stored as account history (see also the Privacy Policy).

8.Credits, trial, and usage

Free trial

Upon account creation, you may receive a 1-credit free trial. The trial is granted once per user and is independent of any paid plan.

Paid plans

Paid access is offered as a recurring subscription with three tiers — Starter (10 images/month), Restaurant (50 images/month) and Pro (200 images/month) — billed either monthly or annually as displayed in the Service.

Monthly allowance

Each plan grants a fixed monthly allowance of generation credits. The allowance resets at the start of every billing month. Unused credits do NOT roll over and are lost at each monthly reset.

Annual plans

Annual subscriptions are charged once per year, but the monthly allowance is refilled every month throughout the year (unused credits do not accumulate across months).

Consumption

Each successful generation consumes 1 credit (MVP: 2K-only).

Failed generations

Failed generations should not deduct credits. If you notice inconsistencies, contact support.

Important

Credits are not e-money, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing.

9.Payments (Stripe), subscriptions and billing

1Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores payment and billing data under its own policies.
2Prices are displayed in the Service in USD on the English site and in RON on the Romanian site. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
3Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) using the payment method on file, until you cancel.
4You can cancel your subscription at any time, on a self-service basis, through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid period and is not renewed afterwards; access to paid features then stops. We do not immediately revoke access on cancellation.
5Payment confirmations and invoices are issued automatically by Stripe at each successful charge (initial purchase and each renewal) and sent by email.

Invoicing for Romanian Business Entities

Legal entities (companies) registered in Romania that subscribe to a paid plan will receive a fiscal invoice sent to the email address used for registration, issued for the initial payment and for each subsequent renewal (monthly or annual). The invoice will also be submitted to SPV (Spațiul Privat Virtual – the Romanian Tax Authority's electronic system) in accordance with Romanian fiscal regulations. 10.Refund policy

1To the extent permitted by law, subscription payments and the monthly credit allowances they include are non-refundable, including any unused credits within the current period. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not trigger a refund of the current paid period.
2If you are a consumer (B2C), statutory withdrawal rights under Romanian/EU law may apply, subject to the legal exception for digital content/services that you have requested to be supplied immediately and have started to use, in which case the right of withdrawal is lost.
3Limited exceptions (e.g., a serious technical fault that prevented use of the Service, or an incorrect/duplicate charge) are reviewed on a case-by-case basis as described in the Refund Policy.

11.Availability and changes

1The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Downtime may occur for maintenance or technical reasons.
2We may modify or discontinue features (e.g., AI model changes, settings, limits) and will use reasonable efforts to notify users when practical.

12.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

1We do not guarantee that generated images will meet all aesthetic or commercial expectations.
2We are not responsible for your use of the images in contexts that infringe third-party rights or violate applicable laws.
3To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the last 3 months.

13.Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend/terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraud, or security risks. After termination, access may be restricted; you may request deletion in line with the Privacy Policy.

14.Privacy

Personal data processing is described in the Service's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes should first be attempted to be resolved amicably; otherwise, competent courts at the Operator's registered seat will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
